Breakform Design provides architecture and interior design for homes, multifamily housing, commercial spaces and mixed-use projects. Founded in 2002, our practice brings architectural design together with practical knowledge of materials, fabrication and construction.

From feasibility to the built details
Our architectural services include early feasibility studies, site analysis, programming, architectural design, interior design and construction administration. Each project begins with its site, the owner’s goals and the way the spaces will be used.
Our background in metal fabrication informs how we work with glass, metal, wood, concrete and landscape, from the building’s overall form to its smallest connections.

- Victoria Residence, Venice: A 3,268-square-foot infill home combining Breakform’s architecture, construction and fabrication.
- Caswell Apartments, Mar Vista: An 11-unit, 9,868-square-foot residential development, including one affordable home, designed and built by Breakform.
- Sarah’s House, Venice Canals: A ground-up residence bringing architecture, fabrication and construction together around views of the Sherman Canal.
Working with Breakform
Can I hire Breakform for architecture only? Yes. Architecture and interior design can be commissioned independently. Construction and fabrication are also available when those services fit your project.
Can Breakform work with my architect? Yes. Our construction and fabrication teams collaborate with independent architects, as well as on projects designed by Breakform.
